Ashh Fm’s Dasebre Adjei Dwamena Goes Missing

Kumasi-based Ashh fm’s Dasebre Adjei Dwamena is reported missing since the just-ended 2016  December 7 elections.

He had gone to his home town, Akyeremade, to exercise his franchise and was scheduled to report for his station in and around Kokofu in the Bekwai Constituency on the election day.

Neither his employers nor family and friends have had knowledge of his whereabouts and all attempts to reach him on phone after 3.00pm proved futile that December 7 till now

The last time he was seen on WhatsApp was December 7 at 6.13am with the Status post: “I am proud of myself and am very grateful to God for making me who I am”.

Management of Ashh fm has officially reported the matter to the police and the Ashanti Regional Police Command has begun mounting a search for him

The Ashanti Regional branch of the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) is yet to be officially informed of the disappearance

However, the Society of Adventists in Media, Ghana (SAM) which Dasebre has been a member has described news of the dispearance as “unwavering” and “unfortunate” yet, hopeful the search for him will yield positive results.
