Some members of the Delta force today at the Kumasi Circuit Court destroyed notice boards of the court after Her Honor Mary Senkyire had ordered that 13 of them who had appeared at the Court be remanded and re-appear before court on the 20th of April.

The 13 stormed out of the court room and were taken away by the rest of the members who were agitating outside the court room.

The Circuit court justice was whisked into her chambers by the police.

It would be recalled that on 24th March 2017 members of the Delta Force, a Private Security Force of the ruling New Patriotic Party, stormed the Regional Coordinating Council and attacked the appointed Regional Security Coordinator for the region.

The group contends it cannot work with George Adjei because he was not part of the struggle to bring the party to power.

They also indicated that Mr. Adjei is not a native of the region.

Many including the NPP as a party and even the president H. E Nana Akufo Addo have condemned the act.

Thirteen out of the over 200 group members were arrested and processed for court today but were obviously not happy about today’s ruling, resulting in their action at the court.
