Discharge your duties devoid of partisanship- A/R Minister to MMDCEs

Ashanti Regional Minister has sworn in three Municipal and seven confirmed District Chiefs Executives with a call on them to discharge their duties responsibly devoid of partisanship.

Simon Osei Mensah also warned the MDCEs not to discriminate against Assembly members who voted against them during an election to confirm their nominations.

The sworn in nominees are Eric Kwaku Kusi of the Adansi North District Assembly, Alexander Frimpong of the Asante Akim South District Assembly, CatherineReckling of the Sekyere South District Assembly and Nana OkyereTahwiahAntwi of the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly.

Other nominees who were sworn in include;KwakuKyei Baffour and Elijah Adansi Bona and Solomon Kesseof the Bekwai, Obuasi and Offinso South Municipal Assemblies respectively.

The rest are; Mary Boatemaa, Michael AwukuAmoah and David KwakuAsare of the Sekyere East, Atwima Nwabiagya and Offinso North District Assemblies. Mr Osei Mensah who addressed the sworn in nominees, charged them to deliver efficiently.

He also urged them to work closely with stakeholders including traditional leaders and Assembly members without discriminating against those who voted against them during the elections to confirm their nominations.

Offinso North District Chief Executive, David Kwasi Asare who spoke on behalf of his colleagues pledged their readiness to help President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo deliver his mandate to the Ghanaian people.
