Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Cudjoe Fianoo has dared people who have plans against the association, cautioning them to get ready for him.

The Ashgold boss has revealed there is a seeming plot against GHALCA by some members of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

According to him at the GFA ordinary congress held on Monday 12th December 2016 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre for Excellence in Prampram, there was a proposition to take half of GHALCA’s 5% allocation on gate proceeds and foreign transfers to other sectors.

This he believes is a plot against the association he leads and that it’s a move to render GHALCA impotent “I am not surprised that this thing is coming because people who have benefitted from GHALCA, now they have positions, they even want to know the locus of some of us (sic) at the Ghana football so it’s a grand scheme that some people have planned and it’s surprising that the very people who are supposed to be GHALCA members take those decisions so if they want to destroy GHALCA, then they should get ready”.

In an interview with Kumasi base Nhyira fm, Mr. Fianoo mentioned that “If the clubs will not come together and assist GHALCA, if I see something going on at the GFA, I have the right to fight so if the clubs don’t want to come together and want to run a system where nobody talks back when they do, then I will go back to my Ashgold and fight from there anything that is going wrong”.

Cudjoe Fianoo was earlier this year elected as the chairman of clubs welfare body.
