Isaac Twum Wins Wafu Most Valuable Player Gong

Captain of Black Stars B,Isaac Twum was on Sunday adjudged the most valuable player at the just ended Wafu nations cup tournament.

The Inter Allies midfield maestro who started in four games for Ghana put up a splendid performance through out the competition to catch the attention of the organisers.

Twum who most often drove on the team beat off competition from compatriot Winful Cobbinnah,Anthony Okpotu of Nigeria,Victorian Adebayo of Niger to win the top gong.

Ghana did not only win the tourney but almost swept away all the individual accolades barr the best goal keeper award which went to Ikechwuku Ezenwa.

Berekum Chelsea’s Stephen Sarfo who scored twice against Nigeria won the goal king award with four goals.

The award winners each picked home a 32 inch Nasco LED TV.
