Islamic State jihadis have hailed the victory of Donald Trump while claiming the billionaire “fool” will ruin America himself allowing terror groups to take control of the country.

The Republican was branded a “donkey” by militants who warned his election is “an indication of the end of the American empire”.

One ISIS jihadi said: “What we want is their country be delivered to a donkey like Trump who will destroy it.

“In the end, they are all our enemies and we will only meet them on the battlefields.

“It is either them or us. We ask Allah to make their destruction caused by their own plans and their death come among themselves.

“The world is going to experience a change and this change will put Islam in the leadership position as the end result.”

It comes hours after group al-Qaeda said the billionaire’s White House win will give extremists across the Middle East a common enemy – sparking fears of a major attack on US soil.

One tweet said: “On 9-11 US struck with disaster at the hands of al-Qaeda. On 11-9, US struck with disaster at the hands of their own voters.”

Last week the FBI revealed it was probing a major terror attack planned for the day before the US elections in multiple states.

It is thought that al-Qaeda was plotting to strike in Texas, New York and Virginia but specific locations were not revealed.

But after polling day passed without incident a terrifying graphic posted on Twitter warned “the gloves are off” as they urged the billionaire to “bring it on”.

The post said: “Don’t try to hide, Donald. The mujahideen are ready.”

Another added: “Time for another Afghanistan, time for another Iraq, time for another… DEFEAT!”

Rival group ISIS had earlier called for the “slaughter’ of Americans voting in the election.

The posts have warned Mr Trump to prepare for conflict with Middle Eastern terror groups

The jihadis urged followers to attack voters in the election and has told Muslims not to cast a vote.

Separately the Taliban ordered Mr Trump to withdraw US forces from Afghanistan so the country can “become a free nation” after 16 years of conflict.

Trump has repeatedly vowed to wipe out ISIS and other terror groups working against the US.

But his election has prompted concerns over his access to nuclear codes once he becomes president in the new year.

America currently has around 900 warheads around 10 to 20 times more powerful than the weapons that destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
