Kumasi Asante Kotoko brushed aside league champions Wa All Stars to secure qualification to the semi finals of the Ghalca G6 tournament.

The porcupine warriors  started the game with almost the same line up as their previous match against Bechem United while the league champions Wa All Stars paraded almost an entirely different line up to what won them the league title last season.

Talented winger Emmanuel Gyamfi who scored in Kotoko’s first game against Bechem united carried on from where he left off the last time by opening the scores with his second goal of the tournament.

As if that was not enough Kotoko asserted themselves on the game and inflicted more misery on Wa All Stars  with a second goal from goal shy striker Obed Owusu who also recorded his second goal of the tournament.

The win means Kotoko will clash with eternal foes Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday in the semi finals who finished second in group B while Aduana will also take on Bechem united in the other semi final on Saturday both at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
