Pint sized Liberty Professionals winger Latif Attah Blessing emerged as the best player of the season for the 2015/2016 league campaign.

The mercurial forward beat of competition from Dreams Fc captain and fullback Abdul Bashiru who played all 30 games of the season and Medeama’s Kwesi Donsu who scored 15 goals from the central midfield areas with a chunk of them being free kicks.

As if that was not enough, Latif Blessing also made away with the goal king gong having scored 17 goals 2 better than his nearest rival Kwesi Donsu who managed 15.

An emotional Latif Blessing could not hold it when he was named as the player of the season but get down on his knees and point towards the skies.

Hearts of Oak’s Inusah Musah emerged as the defender of the season despite playing only half a season for the Phobians.

Amos Frimpong despite his goal scoring exploits from defence was not enough for him to win the accolade while Dreams FC’s Abdul Bashiru also failed to win the award despite playing all 30 games and being nominated for the player of the season category.

Wa All Star’s Enos Adepa emerged the coach of the season despite last season being his debut campaign in the Ghana league. The young tactician guided the Upper West based to their first ever league title in his first attempt.
