‘Mahama might still be Prez if he’d taken my advice’- Otumfuo advises Nana Addo

Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has disclosed that he told the former president John Dramani Mahama after the election, that if he had listened to his advise perhaps the outcome of the election might be different.

The Asantehene believes former President Mahama shelved the advice he gave him to be cautious about those he surrounds himself with.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II made this known while advising the current President, H. E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo who paid a courtesy call on the him as part of his three day working visits to the Ashanti Region.

Otumfuo cautioned Akuffo Addo to be wary of back stabbers amongst persons he has surrounded himself with.

The Asantehene says the president must not countenance act of backbiting in his leadership indicating that some persons around him will only be interested in issues that will result in his failure.

He said no one in his Government was voted for to be president so he (the President) must work to fulfill the promises he made for the Ghanaian electorates.

Otumfuo says he will continue to give the President the necessary support and advice as he did for his predecessors.

He also asked the President to take advantage of the love Ghanaians have for him to deliver on his mandate o he can leave a good legacy behind.
