Former President, John Agyekum Kuffour has said that the core of the Dankwa-Busia tradition has always been to put Ghanaians first in all their dealings.

It is for this reason that Ghanaians need to vote the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) government out, and usher in a New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo.

Former president, John Agyekum Kuffour said the NPP is ready to capture power and set Ghana back on the right track.

According to him, the NPP’s manifesto is not just a collection of ideas, but contains plans that the party is committed to implementing, when voted into power in December 7.

“For us in the Dankwa-Busia tradition however, the core of our manifesto is not just a recently collected set of ideas that we wish to try out on the people, or a smoothly packaged work for public consumption. Rather, the essential features of our manifesto focus and revolve around upholding and advancing the dignity of humanity, especially of all the citizens of our nation. This has always been the core of our tradition,” the former president noted.

Speaking at the launch of the NPP’s 2016 manifesto at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra, Mr. Kuffour noted that it was time Ghanaians gave NPP the nod to continue from where they left off in 2008.
