As part of its long-standing tradition at the annual FIFA Congress, members of the Executive Council yesterday laid down their suits to don jerseys and challenge a team of football legends from Europe for a friendly.

This was after the two stakeholders had met and discussed how best they could partner each other to further promote football.

The FIFA ExCo team, captained by the President, Gianni Infantino also featured the likes of Kwesi Nyantakyi, the first Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Nyantakyi was referred to as Wa Polo during his stint as a player in Wa, the Upper West Regional capital during his youth.
