The female senior national team of Ghana, the Black Queens have embarked on a match across some streets of the country’s capital, Accra to protest over their unpaid bonuses.

The sports ministry owes the team an amount of $25,000 including bonuses from the All Africa Games qualifiers against Egypt and for qualifying for the 2016 Africa Women’s Championship.

Other bonuses are from the qualification to the semis at the championship and then for finishing third over South Africa in the 2016 tournament that came up in Cameroon.

The ladies according to the captain of the side Samira Suleman will end up at the Flagstaff House (the seat of the president of Ghana) if that’s what it takes for them to get their money.

“We are going straight to the Flagstaff House to see the father of the nation”, Samira mentioned.
