PHOTOS: Friends of #FLS celebrate NBY on Easter Monday
As part of the Easter holiday, Friends of Favorite Love Songs (FLS), a group formed by listeners of Kapital Radio’s mid-morning show, Working Rhythms celebrated the host, Nana Boakye Yiadom, popularly called NBY for his good work on radio.
Working Rhythms gives listeners the opportunity to request their Favorite Love Songs (FLS) for their loved ones by posting them on either Kapital Radio’s Facebook page or on the website Kapital971.com, hence the name FLS.
The thrilled members started with an in studio discussion with the host of the show live on air, while very soothing love songs were playing in the background, on the rationale for the event, took pictures with the man of the moment, NBY and later presented him with a well prepared Citation for how he has impacted on their lives.
In an interview with Kapital News, the administrator of the social media group, Friends of FLS, Nana Agyei, said;
“We are here to celebrate NBY and honor him for the good work he’s done for us. Sometimes you may feel a little weak psychologically but listening to him just motivate us and we are here to celebrate him together with the entire body of KR, the management and all the staff here we are to celebrate them all.”
Also the organizer of event of the day, Della also told Kapital News;
“Today we deem it good to be here to show our appreciation to NBY for what he has done to us. We have been enjoying the show for a long time; I think it’s time we also show some kind of appreciation to him so that he also enjoy and feel loved, he knows that we love him and we are here to just celebrate with him on this holiday to show appreciation and to show our love to NBY.”
Another member, Yaa Grace had this to say;
“The program is so nice, I like the program FLS..NBY too is very nice.”
On his part, NBY thanked the group in an appreciation of what they have done for him and pledged to up his game to make them happier moving forward.
Meanwhile after some more picture taking the group climaxed the day with a party with their host, Nana Boakye Yiadom.
