‘I will not let you, the people of Ghana down’ H.E Akufo Addo reiterates

The president of the republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has reiterated his pledge not to let the people of Ghana down.

At a colorful swearing in ceremony, the president who had earlier taken both the oath of allegiance and the presidential oath pledged to do right by Ghanaians.

He expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for the confidence reposed in him to lead the country for the next four years.

“I am deeply humbled by the exceptional mandate and extraordinary show of confidence that the Ghanaian people have conferred on my party, the New Patriotic Party and my modest person.”

Nana Addo intimated that he is “determined to do all in my power to accomplish the task of the mandate and justify their [Ghanaians] confidence”

“‘I will not let you, the people of Ghana down’. He added.
